Jaxy Boyd is the daughter of an Army lieutenant-colonel, whose career moved the family every 2-1/2 years like clockwork, including twice to Germany. She therefore attended 18 different schools between kindergarten and 12th grade. Jaxy’s first appearance on stage was in the school play in fourth grade, where she had a solo song and got to boss all the other characters around. Her acting endeavors continued through high school and college, resulting in a BA in Drama from Stanford University.Shortly thereafter, she added an MBA in Marketing from Haas School of Business to her educational portfolio.

During a ten-year stint in advertising research (designing focus groups and telephone surveys for multiple ethnic groups), she re-started her acting career in theater companies around the San Francisco Bay Area, including Women’s Will, MagicTheater, 42nd Street Moon and TheaterWorks. As a member of Theatre of NOTE in LosAngeles, Jaxy has appeared in The :nv:s:ble Play, Roots: An Evening of World-PremierShorts, and NOTE’s Young Writers Project, an annual playwriting collaboration with local high schools. Her television appearances include ER, Southland, Henry Danger,Young Sheldon, This Is Us, Shameless and NCIS.
