As a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre/LA, Lauren acts in and directs both productions and staged readings for its play development programs. She was a longtime member of LA’s award-winning Evidence Room, appearing in more than a dozen of its productions, including Margo Veil, The Berlin Circle, Pentecost, Homewrecker, Flow My Tears, and The Cherry Orchard. Other SoCal stage credits include Bill & Joan at Sacred Fools, The Projectionist at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, Pentecost at The Old Globe, Involuntary Homicide at The Actors’ Gang, and In the Flesh, her original work at the late Glaxa Studios, to name a few. Directing credits include Firewater for Inkwell Theatre LAB, Sohni Mahiwal for The Blank Theatre’s Living Room Series, Shiva for Anne Frank, a solo show by comedian Rachel McKay Steele, and the short film A Good Shake for Team Rebelution Films. Lauren also works with TheatreWorkers Project on its reentry workshops with formerly incarcerated individuals.
